Field Directions

Please let me know what other field directions you need and I'll add them.

HUNTSVILLE

Merrimack Park- 3501 Triana Blvd, Huntsville, AL 35805
The fields are on the corner of Triana Boulevard and Linden Avenue (just north of Drake Avenue) .
From Madison, take I-565 East to US 231 (Memorial Parkway). Go south to Drake Avenue and turn right (west). Go about a mile and turn right on Triana Boulevard. The fields will be a block or two on your right.

John Hunt - 2151 Airport Road, Huntsville, AL 35801
From Madison, take I-565 East to US 231 (Memorial Parkway), go south to Airport Road. Turn right (west). Follow Airport Road to second traffic light, turn right. John Hunt Fields 1 & 2 are on your right in the "stadium" and John Hunt 3 & 4 are on your left.

MADISON

Dublin Park - From Huntsville, take Highway I-565 to Madison and turn North on Wall-Triana Boulevard heading towards Madison. Go through the intersection at Madison Boulevard (old Highway 20). Turn right on Old Madison Pike (a.k.a. Brown's Ferry Road). Go through Hughes Road intersection (Applebee's will be on your left). Go about a half mile and Dublin Park will be on the left.

Palmer Park -  From Huntsville, take Highway I-565 to Madison and turn North on Wall-Triana Boulevard heading towards Madison. Go through the intersection at Madison Boulevard (old Highway 20). Right after you cross over the railroad tracks, turn left on Front Street. Palmer Park will be 1.2 miles on the left.

DECATUR

Jack Allen Recreational Complex (JARC) - 2616 Modaus Road, SW, Decatur, Alabama 35603
From Huntsville/Athens: Take I-65S to the Priceville/Decatur, Hwy 67, exit 334. After exiting, go right onto Hwy 67 towards Decatur. Stay on this road for approx. 4.3 miles. You will cross Hwy 20 / 6th Avenue (Lynn Layton Chevrolet is on your right at the intersection). Continue on the Beltline for 1.8 miles and turn left at the traffic light at Modaus Road (Home Depot should be on your left). Drive 2 miles on Modaus Road and turn right into the Jack Allen Soccer Complex / Recreation Complex.

Spirit of America fields at Point Mallard Park - 2900-C Point Mallard Park, SE, Decatur, Alabama 35601
From Huntsville, take I-565 towards Decatur and continue past I-65 where I-565 becomes Highway 20. From Athens, take I-65 South and take exit 340 towards Decatur on Highway 20. Follow Highway 20 as it curves to the left when it merges with Highway 31 and cross over the Tennessee River Bridge. Once you cross the river, continue south on Highway 31 through Decatur for about 3 miles. Turn left at at 8th Street (traffic light at McDonald's Hamburgers, which is on the corner of Highway 31 and 8th Street SE). Follow 8th Street as far as you can go until you pass the golf course and a soccer field on your left. At the next intersection turn right (follow the signs directing you to Point Mallard Water Park). (If you go straight by mistake you will be in the Point Mallard Campgrounds.) Follow the road to the water park as far as you can go (about a mile). It makes a huge sweeping curve through the whole Point Mallard Complex. After you pass the baseball fields (on left) and Aquatic Center (on your right), the soccer complex will be on your left. Look for the tall stadium type lights.

ATHENS

Athens Sportxplex - Hwy 31 North, Athens, AL
From Huntsville/Madison: Take Hwy 72 West to I-65 North to Exit 354 (Hwy 31).  Travel South on Hwy 31 to the 1st traffic light (Elm Street). Athens Sportsplex is on the left. Turn left into the park and drive to the back of the complex. The fields are on the left at the rear of the park.

For those familiar with Athens, you can stay on Hwy 72 West, then get on Hwy 31 heading North. Drive a couple of miles and go past Athens High School. The Athens Sportsplex is on your right about .5 mile North of the high school.

BIRMINGHAM
Bent River Fields (Briarwood Field)
From I-65 heading South, take I-459 to the East towards Gadsden. Approx. 4 miles, take the Acton Rd exit and turn towards McDonalds. Go past the entrance to Briarwood Church and take a Left on Old Rocky Ridge Rd. Go 2.3 miles, past Hoover East Softball park. Just before you cross over I-65, take a Left on Bent River Rd. Bent River Rd field is immediately on your left.
